The trail itself mostly led over dirt and gravel paths, with only a few singletrack trails. However, there were some steep climbs and a section that could almost be described as "alpine."

I ended up in Nickenich and there I completed the Pellenzer Seepfad.
This is a nice, varied tour, there is a good view and in parts it goes along the Laacher See.
Recommended and rightly a dream path.
