The “dream tour” takes you to idyllic forest gorges and enchants you with unique views, natural highlights and the best places to stop for a break.

To start, you walk through the archway in the heart of the seven-valley town of Bad Herrenalb and then follow the markings to the big loop. The spring adventure trail takes you to the Albtalweg and to the enchanted Teufelskammerfelsen. Take a little time to explore the overgrown caves in detail. The route continues uphill on narrow, rocky paths to the Teufelsmühle.

You can have a meal at the Hahnenfalz hut, then it goes steadily downhill. If you have your own cooker with you or a few sausages in your backpack, you can also sizzle them over the fireplace at the Hirschwinkel hut. A successful end to this nature-loving tour.

The start and end point of the tour is very close to the Bad Herrrenalb train station, which is well connected to Karlsruhe with the S-Bahn line S1.
