Forsthofalm Tour – biking in Saalbach

Mountain biking

From the valley station of the Zwölferkogelbahn you continue on the Glemmtaler Landesstraße into the valley. At the Forellenhof you cycle over the bridge and continue on the cycle path into the valley head. After the barrier there is a slight uphill left on a forest road to the Lindlingalm. Here is also the Teufelswasser with all kinds of attractions for young and old.

Now you follow the forest road past the Lindlingalm. After a few bends you will reach the Forsthofalm. Maybe the next break? From here you follow the forest road for a short time and then turn into a trail that takes you past a stream back onto a forest road. You follow this downhill until you reach the bike path that brings you back to Saalbach.

Teufelswasser Water Park

Highlight • Rest Area

Lots of water fun for the kids. A change of clothes or swimming trunks are an advantage. Very popular when the weather is nice, and accordingly heavily visited.

The Lindlingalm is a rustic and popular alpine pasture in the valley head of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, easily accessible on foot or by the valley head train. Surrounded by lush meadows and imposing mountains, it offers traditional Pinzgau specialties, a sunny terrace, and a cozy atmosphere. It is an ideal starting point for hikes, family outings, and a perfect place to fully enjoy the alpine atmosphere.

Today it was time to spend the trail time of the men's team 👨 👦 👦 with their own activity. That's why I chose the valley end circuit. An entertaining and relaxed tour 🚵‍♀️ to the picturesque end of the valley, which offered me numerous motifs 📸.

Since it only rained from yesterday evening to this morning, I decided to forego the wet and muddy trails and explored the Glemmtal. I drove to the climbing and children's amusement park in Lengau at the end of the valley. I took a leisurely look at the area and let my eyes wander. A nice patch of earth back there.

The men's team wanted to hit the trails again today, so I headed towards the end of the valley. A partly very demanding tour for me, but I really enjoyed it.
