Excellent tour, but the descent is very steep and gravelly. I recommend poles here. Or the alternative is the Hörnerbahn (which was unfortunately already closed).

Most beautiful hike in the Allgäu Alps😍😇. Lots of sun and a bit cool. Well, it was a tough hike, but otherwise great.👍 Lots of nature 🥰🥾😍😇

Showing Translation

Important note: 80 percent of the hike is on paved roads. Only a small part leads over gravel paths or even proper hiking trails. We would not do this tour again. Unfortunately, this is not hiking.

Oops! Better prepared than for the Starzlachklamm tour, I thought, but another 🅿️ with a maximum of 1 hour. So continue to the WeltcupExpress valley station and park with the PARKSTER APP (a real recommendation everywhere in the Oberallgäu) for €2.
Shortly before the World Cup hut, a magnificent view of the entire Nagelfluh chain from noon to the Hochgrat …

The Allgäu is always worth a trip. Instead of winter hiking, there is a storm hike today - on the Ofterschwanger Horn it's blowing really hard 🌬️ The descent is not for sensitive knees - despite everything, it's a wonderful tour 😀

Just in time to see a few alpine roses blooming

Showing Translation

Easy hike, partly paved, forest and meadow paths.
Along the way, there are several alpine huts with services for a cozy stop. 🍰☕️

Showing Translation

The starting point is at the top of the cable car. The end point is at the bottom of the mountain railway at the Schlitte Hitte, where you can stop for a bite to eat.
