From the picturesque Tauber Valley, this circular hike takes you up to the surrounding hills, which offer fantastic views. From Impfingen, with its St. Nicholas Church, you hike through the Tauber meadows and up a side valley to the "Silberbrünnle" spring. At the rest area there, you can absorb the tranquility of the forest.
Continuing through the forest, you reach the plateau of the Upper Sprait. Where the rows of trees thin out, a stunning view of Tauberbischofsheim awaits you. In this romantic town, you can visit impressive buildings such as the Türmersturm (Tower Tower), the castle, or the town church of St. Martin. The latter is a true oasis of peace amidst the hustle and bustle.
Crossing the Tauber River, you leave Tauberbischofsheim and return to Impfingen on field paths. On the final section, you pass the Stations of the Cross and the town's cemetery chapel.
