Hiking
This almost five-kilometer-long hike owes its name to Professor Adolf Tegtmeier. He worked as a doctor in Munich and Bad Berka and fought primarily to combat the lung disease tuberculosis. He headed the central clinic in Bad Berka for several years as medical director.
On your hike, the route takes you past this very clinic. You also wander through the surrounding forests, where Professor Tegtmeier also liked to spend his time.
The start and end point of the tour is at a car park. You will also find the Bad Berka Zeughausplatz train station very close by, so you can easily get there by public transport.
