This beautiful hike in the Murtal adventure region takes you past the small Tubaysee to the 2,196 meter high Hochschwung. From the Bretsteingraben you follow the evenly ascending Koineweg into the forest. The zigzag path leads up to the Tubayalm, which invites you to have a snack on the ascent or later on the descent.
Accompanied by the narrow Seebach, you then hike to the Tubaysee, crossing the tree line. The green flanks of the Hochschwung rise steeply on the lake shore. It is precisely over these that you then reach the mountain ridge of the Hochschwung. Around you you can admire, for example, the Schattnerzinken (in the southwest), the Regenkarspitz (in the south) and even - a little in the distance - the Grosser Bösenstein.
Incidentally, the Austrian long-distance hiking trail 02 runs over the Hochschwung. After the wonderful summit happiness, the same path takes you back to the starting point.
