Right from the start, you can look forward to a hearty stop at the Vesperstube Hintereck, a former farmhouse that is over 200 years old. To get to this quaint highlight, you need to be sure-footed, because it goes through deep gorges, over stony paths and several meters in altitude. You'll sweat more than once, but you'll be rewarded with wonderful views, pretty valley meadows and wild streams.

Until you arrive at the Vesperstube you will pass countless small waterfalls and man-sized boulders. Motivating sayings await you in the serpentines, so that the last meters in altitude are easier.

Once you have strengthened and recovered enough in the rear corner, you descend a steep descent to Saulach and back to the starting point of the challenging hike.
