A beautiful hike with very challenging climbs and descents. Sturdy shoes recommended.
The great views and landscapes "compensate" for the effort.
The hiking time recorded by Komot is not correct, however! We hiked for about 5 1/4 hours and were on the road for 6.5 hours including a visit to Thurant Castle. Very, very worthwhile 🤩.

Like the other Dream Trail loops, this one truly deserves the name "Dream Trail."

From the designated hiking parking lot, it's just a 25-meter walk before the enthusiastic hiker turns onto a small, narrow vineyard path that immediately packs a punch.

The 1,000 meters of elevation gain along the Moselle River are reached quickly and easily.
