Jufplaun Plateau

Highlight • Natural

Jufplaun is a plateau with wide wet meadows between a network of mountain streams. The path can also be walked with snowshoes in winter and is also popular with mountain bikers.

At the crossroads of various paths, from here you can enjoy a splendid view of the surrounding mountains (Piz Daint, Piz Dora, Monte la Tagliata).

Alp Mora

Highlight • Mountain Hut

Rustic alp in the otherwise very lonely Val Mora, which is open in summer from around the end of June to around mid-September. Fresh Alpine products such as milk, yoghurt, cheese as well as cold and warm drinks and cold and warm dishes are offered. The barley soup, for example, is very tasty!

Val Mora

Highlight (Segment) • Gorge

For me, the Val Mora remains a mystical valley. A different light shines at every time of day. The landscape is somehow different from all other Alpine valleys.

Döss Radond Pass

Highlight • Mountain Pass

The Döss Radond is located at an altitude of 2,234 metres. It is the highest point of Val Mora. Once here it is all downhill, whether you continue towards Switzerland or towards Cancano. The meaning of the name is "round hump", and indicates the particular shape that the valley took when the glaciers melted. A nice point to stop, rest, admire the view.

Valchava village

Highlight • Settlement

Valchava is located in the picturesque Val Müstair. It is a good starting point or destination for hikes in the Swiss National Park, as bus line 811 also runs here and stops at many stations in the park.

This Hike was a challenge.
The ascent was hard due to snow and not being able to see the path. It even involved some climbing.
If there is snow make sure u have the right gear with you. The view is priceless
