Here is a route which offers a complete tour of the Gruissan pond. Accessible to all, the route allows you to discover the diversity of an ecosystem living in symbiosis with this lagoon space.
The start is at the edge of the pond a few steps from the town of Gruissan. From the outset, you walk along the water, bypassing the historic center dominated by the Barbarossa Tower. The route quickly leads to the Saint-Marie canal lined with a very pleasant path.
You then cross the canal to follow the northern part of the pond. All along the route, information panels as well as remarkable viewpoints mark your progress. One of them offers a remarkable panorama of Gruissan on the other side of the lake. Gradually, the route leads back to Gruissan, the visit of which wonderfully concludes this loop along the water.

Comments
Initially on a cycling/hiking path, then on a path that runs between the water arms back to Gruissan.
Today was one of 3 market days/week.
Bought a few treats exclusively from local suppliers, sat in the cafe and then finished the round with heavy legs 😨.
And now🥱😴
