Hiking
You can take a leisurely walk of around four and a half kilometers at the foot of the Schattenberg. The start and finish are at the Nebelhornbahn, which you can easily get to with the local bus.
You walk along the banks of the Trettach until the Oytalbach flows into it. There you turn around and walk a little above the river and on the other side of the river back to your starting point. On the way back you always have the Schattenberg ski jump in sight, where numerous international ski jumping competitions have been held for many years.
Tip: The ski jump facility can also be visited! Either on your own or you can join one of the exciting guided tours.
