September 10, 2022,2022-09-10 Rund um die Dolomiten - Tag 7 - Von Bruneck nach Brixen
Day 7 from Bruneck to Brixen
In the morning we looked at Bruneck again and then we enjoyed the last 37 km to Brixen again.
Our tour ends today in Brixen. We had a wonderful 413 km and 3310 hm.
Super great landscapes, mountain panoramas and beautiful places where we stayed. Once again it was great.
Until the next tour …

Because the stage was quite unspectacular, here are a few photos from the bicycle fair in Brixen; I was allowed to test drive the successor model of my Ghost Asket with a carbon frame and almost didn't let it go 🤩🚴‍♂️⛰️

From Gais via Bruneck, mostly along the Rienz, on very nicely developed bike paths to Brixen. We went back by train.
The weather was good, although poorly forecast. What more could you want?!😊
Brixen is a beautiful city worth seeing 🤩

From Bruneck, after a small breakfast, always downhill. Partly on old Roman roads, but always well-developed cycle paths. Always down the valley and a bit up to Franzensfeste. From here, take the train to Brenner. From there, part two

At the moment I'm "constantly lagging" 😂 with my reporting a day behind 🙈...

On Thursday, after starting my tour in Mittewald, I went to Franzensfeste, just a few km away... and of course it makes sense to visit the famous fortress (9 € entrance fee).
