An exposed high-altitude hike from the Kreuzkogel to the Kieserl awaits you. You start at the mountain station of the Panoramabahn Großarltal and hike via the Laireiteralm to the Kreuzkogel. After a short ascent, you will be rewarded with a fantastic mountain view at the summit cross.

On the next section, you hike comfortably downhill on the Höhenweg. A photo point and a resting place are on the way until you tackle another ascent and reach the summit of the Fulseck. Now it really only goes downhill to the finish. If your stomach rumbles, the Wolke 7 summit restaurant is the right place for a stop on the panoramic terrace. Afterwards, you can comfortably take the Kieserlbahn down into the valley.

Laireiter Alpine Hut

Hut directly at the mountain station of the Panoramabahn. More like a mountain inn than an alpine pasture. Great view from the sun terrace, which can get pretty crowded from midday on. There are also play facilities for the children here. The Kaiserschmarrn and the apple strudel are great!

Nice starting point for one of the numerous hikes. Here I can particularly recommend the Gamssteig to the Aigenalmen and the hike to the Spiegelsee. You can even come to Spiegelsee with a stroller, but you should be suitably fit. The Gamssteig is also suitable for families, but not for pushchairs.

From Cloud 7 you have a fabulous view of the Austrian mountains. Glockner, Großes Wiesbachhorn, Sonnblick, Dachstein, Bischofsmütze to the Leoganger Steinberge. New, very nice restaurant on Kieserl with reasonable prices. You can walk to the summit barn on Fulseck in 15 minutes and in summer you can marvel at the paragliders there.
