This circular tour takes you from Bolzano to the two Montiggl lakes, which are surrounded by beautiful nature and invite you to swim. It starts on the Etsch at Sigmundskorn Castle. From here you drive up through vineyards to Eppan. It's worth taking a look back, because the view of Bolzano is fantastic from here.

We then continue on roads with little traffic and a well-developed cycle route. You cycle into nature and soon reach the two sparkling lakes, the Small and Large Montiggl Lakes. Surrounded by deciduous and coniferous trees, they invite you to linger - regardless of whether you want to refresh yourself in the water, have a leisurely break or explore the Montiggler Forest on one of the numerous paths. (Please note that you stay on the paths in the forest designated for cyclists.)

After enjoying the ambience at the lakes, you drive on a beautiful route through forest and vineyards back to the starting point on the Etsch.

Short but very nice round, especially the Monticolo lakes are a dream. At Camping Kleiner Montiggler See you sit particularly nicely, we went back again especially. The Messsner Mountain Museum is also worth a visit.
