"Balade des Etangs" (Pond Walk) was the name of our hike today. After yesterday's varied hike around Ferrette, we followed our landlord's suggestion today, given the bad weather forecast, and set off from the village of Bisel on a circular hike through the pond and forest landscape of the Sundgau. A regional specialty on the menu is the fried carp, which ends up on restaurant plates from the pond waters here. The trail wasn't as spectacular as yesterday, but it was well marked (red dot) and just right for the rainy and windy weather.
