This route was planned by komoot.
before the announced big rain again on a "must-lap". We actually wanted to eat at Alpe Vicania, but luckily I saw on the Internet before leaving that the Ristorante Vicania has host Sunday on Monday. So we enjoyed our lunch, before the steep ascent to Vicania, down by the lake in Morcote. The absolute highlight, however, was the Parco San Grato and the unique view from up there. Now we hope that our weather forecasters were wrong and that it will not be thunderstorm & rainy for the next 3 days ...
The changer had to be replaced now everything is fine again
Nice trails with a few blocked passages. The trail to Morcote is flowing.
Nice ride at the beginning very technical with many roots then it is better explained with a nice very fun descent, arrived at the lake the village of Morcote is nice then you go up again arriving at a wonderful panoramic point and finally the Grato Park with its infinity of rhododendrons and azaleas to close the turn.
As expected 😎, this time again a very nice round with many trails around Monte Arbostora. The sky was initially overcast and in Vico Morcote there was even a little rain for 10 minutes. But then the sun and a very clear view. Perfect!👌
Directly below Monte Arbostera, the Schweizmobil route might be a more fun alternative.
Leave Lucerne in wet and cold weather (see image 1). Less than 2 hours later, warm and beautiful in Lugano. Beautiful spring tour around the Parco San Grato. Varied, lots of nature trails and one or the other challenge to get back into the flow! Biking with joy and friends!
Pleasant stroll in the San Grato Park above Lake Lugano. Morning with a few snowflakes and somewhat cloudy. The trail in the final part is quite challenging. 55% 7
