Do you want a top-class high alpine experience? Then this tour is just right for you. Look forward to a fantastic panorama and a mega downhill. You start at Molas Pass and climb meter by meter towards the striking Engineer Mountain.
The further you drive, the lonelier and more idyllic it becomes. But also all the more strenuous. Don't be surprised if your lungs are full of gas. It goes high, very high. When you reach around 3,700 meters after 16 kilometers, you deserve a break. You may not have covered all the altitude yet, but at least you have reached the highest point of the tour. Here you can rest your legs, enjoy the panorama and bite into your sandwich with pleasure.
The Engineer Mountain Trail then goes briefly uphill and then back downhill with a permanent grin. This top trail promises pure riding fun and adrenaline at its best! Experienced bikers will really enjoy themselves here. After almost 16 kilometers, the trail fun comes to an end and the path spits you out again on Highway 550. From here you can either crank your bike back or choose the energy-saving option and hitchhike back to Molas Pass.
