Running

Renowned for its à la carte trail concept, Ut4M offers with the 20 Series, four races of around twenty kilometers which offer immersion in each massif around Grenoble. Perfect for those who wonder about the feasibility of a 40 km!

The Ut4M 20 Vercors is quite demanding because of its ascending profile and its technical passages. This public trail of 20.5 kilometers with 1,700 meters of elevation gain allows you to get to grips with this race.

The departure is located in Seyssins, where you set off towards the Vercors massif, under the benevolent gaze of the Trois Pucelles, these rocky needles which seem to watch over the valley. Along the way, the picturesque village of Saint-Nizier-du-Moucherotte welcomes you with its breathtaking panoramas and trails that wind halfway up the slope.

The route then climbs boldly to the foot of the Trois Pucelles, before tackling the final ascent towards the Moucherotte. Perched at 1901 meters, this summit marks the highest point of the event. The finish line awaits you in Saint-Nizier-du-Moucherotte.

A quaint market town, St-Nizier-du-Moucherotte is one of the four towns in the magnificent Vercors region, on two mountain plateaus.

The Moucherotte Summit

Highlight • Summit

Hello Komootians! I am pleased to inform you that a year ago my friend (Paulo) and myself (Marco) repaired the bench at the top of Moucherotte (under the orientation table, east side). And we signed our work. We invite you to go and check on the spot while taking full advantage of the beautiful and vast panorama that you have when you sit on this bench... A+
PS: we suggest that you climb Moucherotte by its eastern side, stopping at the Vallier cave on the way.
