Beautiful autumn day. From the Wold parking lot, we climb protected by the forest, skirting the Sesia River, first slowly and then quickly along a kilometer-long rock staircase, arriving at the Rifugio Pastore, a beautiful spot with a cathartic view of Mount Rosa. We climb further and then descend again, still protected by the forest. Some pleasant autumnal yellow hues. A fairly undemanding but definitely spectacular route. 8
At the fork to Refugio Pastore, there are trails 206 and 207. Trail 207 is a bit easier and takes you directly to the waterfall.
Unfortunately the rains this time closed the uphill path. It's worth it even on a normal road, and on the way back we try a small path (very nice) in the upper part
