A very beautiful, worthwhile, but not without danger. The "Orrido della Val Sanagra" trail has been undergoing renovation work since September 2023. The maintenance work allows use by experienced hikers (with appropriate footwear and helmet), but it remains a mountain trail that may be unstable. Extreme caution is required when walking on it. We decline all liability in the event of an accident. The palm forest, the chestnut groves, the waterfalls, the stone bridges... simply impressive!
Today I was out again in glorious weather. Luckily, most of the route was shaded. The route was once again very varied, and there were countless reasons to take pictures. I don't really need to write much more about it, because pictures say more than a thousand words. Just put on some decent sneakers and let's go!
Absolutely worth seeing gorge hike near Menaggio. Just a few kilometers from Lake Como.
From km 2.8 onwards it becomes rather dangerous. Good footwear is an advantage. Unsecured passage! Not suitable for families with small children.
