Sentiero delle Fornaci di Ispra – loop trail

Embark on the Sentiero delle Fornaci di Ispra, an easy 3.2-mile (5.1 km) loop hike that takes about 1 hour and 25 minutes to complete, with a gentle 323 feet (98 metres) of elevation gain. This route offers a delightful blend of natural beauty and historical interest along Lake Maggiore's eastern shore. You will begin on the "Passeggiata dell'Amore," walking on rocks, boardwalks, and small bridges right by the lake, enjoying panoramic views. The trail then transitions through paved and gravel sections, ascending into wooded areas towards Monte dei Nassi via an earth and wood staircase, passing pines, birches, oaks, and chestnut trees.

While generally considered easy, be aware that some sections include steeper climbs and stairs, making it unsuitable for strollers or pushchairs. The path is well-marked with red and white signs, ensuring easy navigation as you explore.
