Running

This format of the Templar festival has the particularity of not being carried out in a loop. Indeed, the departure is in the small hamlet of La Salvage, accessible only by car. The 35 kilometers of the route wind through the Dourbie, its valley and its impressive cliffs.

Departing from the hamlet, you make a first small hilly loop which takes part of the Corniches du Pompidou path. This spectacular passage provides a first glimpse of the Dourbie valley. You continue your climb up the course via its cornices, discovering the impressive Clapade caves.

You then access the edge of the Dourbie via the descent which is in the Gazel ravine. This small, refreshing section allows you to recover before starting the climb to Mas de Bru. At the farm, a new ravine, that of Roubelier, allows you to reach the watercourse which you cross on a pretty wooden bridge.

The black causse now presents itself to you. First, you climb there with a steep climb before going deeper into the forest. At the hamlet of Cade, you head towards an emblematic summit of Millau, the Pouncho d’Agast. This rocky promontory offers a vast panorama of Millau and its valley before beginning the final descent.
