In 2014, Eersel was declared a walking municipality in the Netherlands. Today you will travel approximately 4.5 kilometers to discover the attractive village and the greenery.
Although you later pass through a beautiful park, the route is mainly devoted to culture. First you visit Manneke Content, which symbolizes the character of the inhabitants of the Kempen. People used to work hard here, but people didn't complain. They were satisfied with what they had!
Then it's time to continue rolling through Eersel, a village that will surprise you with its charm. Historic houses and cobblestones: the village breathes history and provides an attractive walking setting. Want to catch your breath? This is possible on one of the many pleasant terraces.
