Path overlooking the Cirque de Gens

Highlight (Segment) • Other

Here, a path descends between the trees towards the Ardèche river. The path takes you over large rock slabs along the river. About 300 m further on, a small sandy beach is worth seeing. (round trip 100m). The hiking trail then goes up towards the middle of the cliff, overlooking the river (be careful!). In the bend, the path descends to join the river. Follow the river on rocky slabs (impassable when the river is in flood). The vegetation gradually replaces the rocks.

Les Baumes des Grenas Cave

Highlight • Cave

Beautiful cave. If you feel like it and not afraid of dirt and mud, you can explore the branching small passages that are even better preserved. For this one must partly climb or crawl. The cave walls are slippery, so you have to be careful. The main course is easy to walk but can be a bit muddy and therefore slippery in the rain.

Via Ardèche

Highlight (Segment) • Other

The recently developed Via Ardèche greenway now offers a safe 22 km route between Vogüé and Grospierres. It follows the route of the old railway line, closed in 1988. Since then, and this is an exclusively Ardèche particularity, no more freight trains, nor
travelers, does not circulate in Ardèche.
