A nice walk from Abcoude along the river Gein on paved roads. Luckily not busy on an early Monday afternoon. 800 meters ahead, the signboard invited guests for coffee and snacks, but sadly, Fort Nigtevecht was closed. Open only on Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 17.
