Narrow paths through shady forests, challenging climbs but also impressive panoramic views of Wolfach, Oberwolfach, Hausach and beyond - welcome to the premium trail and Black Forest gourmet trail “Wolfacher Grenzgänger-Steig”.

On one side the pulsating traffic artery through the Kinzigtal, on the other side the decelerating tranquility of the forests, gentle and lush meadows amidst the unique backdrop of the Kinzig and Wolftals. In between, dreamy and rocky paths on and along old, historical borders of the three towns Wolfach, Oberwolfach and Hausach - including summit happiness at the “Spitzfelsen”.

Since there are no places to stop for refreshments along the way, we recommend that you pack plenty of snacks!

The start and end point of the tour is directly at Wolfach train station. The RB20 regional train runs here to Freudenstadt and Hausach. In Hausach you can change to trains towards Offenburg.
