In the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city on a Saturday morning, nature resilience trainer Claudia Meier invited us to find beauty in everyday life. That wasn't difficult in Leutkirch. A special fountain, old houses with brick and wooden beams, a flowering tree... We then hiked the trilogy tour of Leutkirch. Glassworks were in operation around Leutkirch until the 18th century. And we also discover a fascinating amount of greenery near the city. At the Thingsstätte, Claudia explains a lot about the power of trees. The backdrop consists of old oak trees. This tree was misused by the Nazis as a symbol of struggle and warriors. But the oak is a mother tree that protects what lives under it, but at the same time lets enough light through. On a subtle level, the oak gives us strength when we have to persevere, explains Claudia. Their conclusion: walk through the woods and if a tree attracts you, it will give you what you need right now. We walk around the town pond and then arrive at a meadow on the Wilhelmshöhe. Here we do one last resilience exercise together with Claudia. In the middle of the meadow we answer a few questions about losing strength and replenishing strength.
