Pookinpolku Circle Trail – Rokua National Park

In the middle of Finland's first destination in the UNESCO network of unique geological sites, the Rokua Geopark, you will find the national park of the same name. This is a paradise for the whole family, as even the youngest among us can pursue their adventures undisturbed on the well-developed paths. The landscape is characterized by a barren sandy soil, dunes covered with silvery lichen and small pools formed during the Ice Age. You can surely imagine what a great experience awaits you here!

The Pookinpolku circular trail lets you discover these highlights of the national park up close. On almost five kilometers you hike past said ponds and the picturesque Pitkäjärvi Lake through the unique landscape. You can even set up camp for the night along the way - a small hut with a fireplace and dry toilet is at your service.
