Liesjärvi National Park is a 22 square kilometer national park in Häme Province. Drawn by picturesque lakes and an incredible tranquility and natural beauty, it offers its visitors an unforgettable and typically Finnish experience through and through. In the traditional Korteniemi farm you can also re-enact life in the olden days.
This tour - the Peukaloinen Trail - takes you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and lets you immerse yourself in the vast nature of Liesjärvi Park. You hike on lonely paths through dense forests and past reflecting waters. If you have provisions with you, you can take a seat at various fireplaces or stay longer and set up camp in the roofed huts.
