Schwarzsee – Vallée de la Brecca (big loop)

The primeval landscape of Breccaschlund, formed by glaciers, is fascinating. On this 14-kilometer circular hike, you will explore the mysterious landscape. In addition to varied paths, an alpine pasture awaits you at the highest point of the tour for a rest.

From Schwarzsee, you can easily reach Riggisalp by chairlift, the starting point of your tour. Here, above Schwarzsee, you walk along a high-altitude path past imposing limestone walls. Below the path, you can now see the Breccaschlund plain. The paths themselves are also exciting, alternating between stony paths, wooden stairs and forest paths.

In the deepest section of Breccaschlund, when you have already conquered the highest point of the tour, you will find Alp Combi, where you can rest and regain your strength. From here, it is a steady downhill walk. On the descent, you will experience the primeval landscape in all its fascination. You will also be able to see the Schwarzsee, shimmering in dark tones, on the last few kilometers. Once you arrive in the town of the same name, you have completed your hiking tour.
