Naggler Alm loop

Short, but powerful - this is how this beautiful round can be described aptly. After all, more than 450 vertical meters await you over a distance of almost 16 kilometers. Great fun up to the Naggler Alm, which is rewarded with wonderful views and sweet treats!

You start in Schattseite, in the far west of Lake Weissensee. From here you first roll a few kilometers directly along the water. From the beautiful cycle path you always have the best view of the lake and the mountains on the other shore. When you have arrived in Naggl, you turn your back on the lake and set your sights on the ascent to the Alm.

A forest path, which is steep in parts but easy to drive on thanks to the well-kept gravel surface, now leads you higher and higher up the mountain over a few switchbacks, until you finally reach the highest point of the tour and can look forward to the alpine pasture! If you take it easy, the uphill isn't that bad. Again and again there are beautiful places with the best views for a short break, so that you can breathe deeply in between if you feel like it. You also have a great goal in mind: the Naggler Alm! There you will find delicious regional specialties and we can highly recommend you to try the homemade Kaiserschmarrn.

While you're enjoying it, you can think about the upcoming downhill: This tour takes you back to the lake in a relaxed manner on a gravel path. Alternatively, you could also take one of the three trails, all of which end at the valley station of the Weissensee Bergbahn. The "Weissensee Trail" is particularly suitable for beginners, while the "Naggl Trail" and the "Panorama West Trail" are a bit more demanding.
