Another emblematic village of Bordeaux and its wine culture: Margaux. This is where the daily train stops to cycle to Bordeaux.
You obviously encounter vineyards, but something little known, this area is full of municipal natural parks which offer unexpected landscapes.
Initially, the route crosses the municipal natural park of Grunères and its gravel pits which have fed the paths and soils of the entire area.
As soon as you arrive in Arsac, you take the tangent through the municipal natural park of Pian Médoc.
The landscapes alternate between vineyards and pines. After crossing Blanquefort, the nature reserve of the marshes of Bruges, with its Norman decor, denotes compared to the previous environments.
The view of Lake Bordeaux means the arrival in the city of canelé which you can taste as a reward for this lovely walk.
