This tour takes you to the South Tyrolean lowlands, or rather to the Mendola Pass. Your destination, the Roenspitze, offers you a breathtaking view of the South Tyrolean Wine Road and the entire Adige Valley.

On the hike to your destination, the first thing you will come across is the Enzianhütte, which impresses with its rustic charm and good cuisine. Continuing on the route through the coniferous forests you will reach the Lavinaspitz, which already offers you a foretaste of the view at the end of your tour. Before the last ascent to the Roenspitze, the Malga di Romeno offers you the opportunity to take a deep breath and recharge your batteries. The Roenspitze can be reached via the Göllersteig, an easy via ferrata. The view over the valley rewards all the effort.

To get to the Mendola Pass, you can simply get on line 132 at the Bolzano bus station in the direction of St. Pauls-Kaltern and get off after 25 minutes at the St. Anton, Mendelbahn station. The Mendelbahn takes you in twelve minutes to the starting point of your hike, the Mendelpass.
