Did the knights once have an equally sublime feeling when their gaze wandered into the distance at the eaves of the Swabian Jura? While they were more on the lookout for enemies high above Lenningen, today you have an unclouded view of the vastness of the dreamlike landscape. The tour…

This route was planned by komoot.
Hello, after it stopped raining around midday and the weather app showed that it would stay mostly dry, I decided to go for another run. So I dug this run out of my planned tours, which I found on Komoot or Outdooractive a long time ago. Tour route: ➖ Oberlenningen ➖ Climb through Tobeltal to the ➖ Tobelfelsen ➖ Mittagsfelsen ➖ Engelhof ➖ listed cemetery ➖ Rauber ruins ➖ Sattelbogen ➖ Oberlenningen The sun did come out for a short time. But the pictures are deceptive: there was a strong, sometimes stormy and gusty wind, so that staying at the viewpoints was not exactly pleasant. All in all, it was still a beautiful run. Even though it was rather overcast overall, I still had a good view from the viewpoints, so the title of the tour still came into play. With sunshine and no wind, this tour is definitely a pleasure tour. The title certainly doesn't promise too much 😀👍.
A wonderful, quiet tour, mostly off the beaten track.
Very nice tour, recommended in winter as there are no leaves to obstruct the view.
In the end the battery was empty 🙁, so I went back along the valley railway line.
Beautiful tour with my personal highlight the wishing tree at the end of the tour
It was a great tour. At the top you have an unbelievable view over the valley. You find many spots to relax and consuming the sun.
Went to Lenningen today to climb the Swabian Alb 😍. First 3 km strictly uphill 😅. Across the plateau to the noon rock. Unfortunately, it was "occupied" by a group, so no view😢. Then continue to the Rauber ruins and back over a narrow, steep path👍👍. Definitely not easy to walk in the wet, but today it worked. Was a great tour🤩🤩👍
