Running

With its seven kilometers and its hundred meters of vertical drop, the first route serves as an appetizer. You can finish it in less than an hour without straining too much. You have two options: set off slowly to familiarize yourself with the landscapes of Bures-sur-Yvette or go all out to complete an intense session.

In any case, leave the trail station by following the markup number one. After a small urban kilometer on a false uphill slope, you quickly reach the Guyonnerie and Rames woods. Wide forest paths lined with magnificent trees offer you an appreciable change of scenery.

At the end of a long straight line, you turn left. The slope steepens slightly with percentages exceeding 10%. You are at the top of the Orsay hill. You go around it by a path on the edge of the forest and discover beautiful views of the valley. You then descend to the charming Lac du Mail, which you reach after crossing the Yvette and a beautiful bridge over the river.

All you have to do is follow the river in the middle of a magnificent landscape specific to the Chevreuse valley. After two kilometres, take Rue du Docteur Collé on your left to find the trail station. The first course is over, you can tick it off your list!
