Hiking
On this hike you follow the ever-winding river course of the Hoëgne, which develops from a small trickle to a wildly romantic rushing river.
You start on the beautiful Promenade de la Hoëgne and have already arrived in the middle of nature. The Hoëgne meanders through rock-lined banks and keeps flowing through the rock like a waterfall. At the small waterfalls "Cascade Marie-Henriette" the river gathers in rock pools with crystal clear water. Stone figures built by hikers make this place a particularly beautiful photo spot.
Then you walk along numerous wooden walkways on the "Chemin sur les ponts de Hoëgne" through one of the most beautiful sections of the valley. Waterfalls splash around you and small ponds keep accumulating. At Ponte Centenaire you cross the fairytale bridge of the century and leave the Hoëgne.
The path now leads you deep into forest areas that accompany you until the end of your round trip. Finally, you can stop off at the cozy restaurant Le Chalet du Pont de Belleheid.

But something very special!
The Hoegne Valley - a dreamlike stream, actually gorge-like with a small river in the middle, with some stony paths, wooden boardwalks and bridges.

A very nice walk, partly along the rippling water..
And partly along an open landscape.. highly recommended.

If you enjoy hiking along root paths and narrow nature trails beside rushing water, you'll definitely enjoy this tour! 👍
