Take your time getting to the top, take regular breaks if needs be. The route up from the Brandon Pilgrimage car park is really well marked. Takes about 2 hours if you’re casually doing it, and hour and half for faster hikers. Take some layers for the top, even in the sun gets windy and very cold. Try to catch this peak on a clear day for spectacular views out to Dingle on south western side and North eastern out as far as Castlegregory and the Maharees.

Hile from west car park to Mount Brandon peak. Take the north ridge until it drops down onto the Dingle way path. This is in a saddle with an Ogham stone just east off the saddle.. Follow the Dingle way back to the road. Follow this route/road and continue straight when it turns right. Follow along the base of the …
