This route was planned by komoot.
this time the first part of the Weser cycle path, which in Hann. Münden begins as a round trip from Gieselwerder. This tour was also nice to ride - this time there was a short, crisp climb (and that's called the river bike path :-) ) - the tour was not recorded with komoot, so here it is complete with all breaks.
With new bikes from Hann Münden to Gieselwerder and back on the opposite bank. We wanted to take the ferry from Oedelsheim - but it only operates from Friday to Sunday. So we went to Gieselwerder and there over the bridge. A highlight is the ferry in Hemeln including the nostalgic inn "Zur Fähre". The end of the bike tour in the old town of Hann Münden in a street cafe is the crowning glory, especially since my saddle probably doesn't fit mine.....?!
For those who are inexperienced with BioBike, I would not recommend the return journey from Gieselwerder on the Weser side towards Hemer, although it is absolutely the nicer route. That was quite demanding and my BioBike legs were still having fun the next day.
Today was another great day. 👌 Great route and the sun 🌞 was also often to be seen. Seen a lot again and the locations on the tour are also TOP. Was a nice day ☺️👍
First Komoot made stupid, showed nothing! When saving at least the km! At home, the track was suddenly there! Sometimes I don't understand the program! But it went well! Went to the hardware store again to replace the fitting, but she didn't have the right one either! 😡Must go again, it could be there in 2 weeks! But otherwise a successful tour!
In order to cycle the southernmost part of the Weser Cycle Route, we first drove to the starting point in Wahmbeck by car 🚗. From there we took the ferry and then went along the western bank to Hann. Münden. The old town is well worth seeing 👍 After a short lunch break 🍖 at the Weserstein, we took the eastern side for the way back. Unfortunately, it started to rain shortly before Bodenfelde 🌧. All in all, a nice tour. We liked the way there better 😊
