This route offers a scenic and demanding road cycling experience through the Brecon Beacons National Park. You'll navigate diverse terrain, from rolling hills and verdant valleys to challenging mountain passes. While much of the route is on well-paved surfaces, be prepared for sections with poorer surfaces and loose chippings, especially on roads no longer maintained for motor vehicles. The iconic conical peak of the Sugar Loaf provides superb 360-degree panoramic views, a highlight of the ride.
