Hard road ride. Very good fitness required. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. The starting point of the route is right next to a parking lot.

Jonnie Bakes Artisan Bakery & Café

Highlight • Cafe

Good cafeteria with cakes, muffins, and great drinks. One of the best places to have a drink in Teguise. It has parking for bikes.

View of Haría Valley

Highlight • Viewpoint

The Haría viewpoint is located 593 meters above sea level. It is a very beautiful place with movie-like views.

View of La Graciosa Island

Highlight • Viewpoint

Spectacular views of La Graciosa. In my opinion it is not worth paying the entrance to the Mirador del Río, since you practically have the same views from the outside.

Church of Our Lady of Help, Guatiza

Highlight • Religious Site

This town in the municipality of Teguise has a mere 800 inhabitants. Here you can find the well-known cactus garden that has 5,000 square meters and was designed by Cesar Manrique.

Interesting geological formation, it is recommended to visit. It has a resemblance to Antelope Canyon in the USA.

A beautiful tour, challenging in terms of elevation gain, especially in the first part, with some longer climbs. The descent to Haria and the ascent to the Mirador del Rio are highlights. Unfortunately, access to the Mirador is subject to a fee, even if you just want a coffee at the bar. However, the view from the western access road …

Took a racing bike from the very nice rental company "Arrietabikes" and explored the north of the island, between Órzola and Arrecife. Very good bike, good roads, drivers who kept their distance, great views, but also quite a bit of wind.

Most of the route is recommended, only Arrecife is impractical for cycling.

Lanzarote Day 2: Queen's stage to the highest point of the island and to the northern tip. Dream weather again, but the familiar wind.

Awesome route 👌👍👍 Unfortunately, I had to cut the tour short. I had actually planned more❗️I was completely soaked and frozen. In the mountains, heavy rain came with a strong wind 😕 That made the descent no longer fun. Climbed up almost for nothing (up to 17% gradient). At least the view of the island of La Graciosa was magnificent …
