Valley of the Veraghi Mills

Highlight • Historical Site

currently functioning testimony of an ancient peasant economy, based on the milling activity of cereals from the territories of Valpolicella and western Lessinia. The structure was part of a complex of 17 mills, located in series along the "vajo", a deeply embedded valley on whose bottom the water of the springs located upstream of the town flowed, and still flows. The presence of perennial running water allowed to operate the mills, transforming the hydraulic energy into mechanical energy through a large wheel with trays, located outside the building, and a set of gears and cogwheels that transferred the movement to the grinding wheel placed inside the structure.

Molina Waterfalls

Highlight • Waterfall

Very beautiful park with 13 waterfalls if you take the black route. I would recommend that everyone wear decent shoes. The paths are uneven and sometimes muddy. Great route, it doesn't get boring.

Check the opening times before your visit. They vary a lot from winter to summer.

A really grandiose path, but you have to be sure-footed and not afraid of heights. Admission to the Parco delle Cascate costs 6 euros and is worth every penny. Narrow paths and bridges, waterfalls, brown trout and an incredibly cheap café.
