Torrente de s'Albufereta

Highlight • River

Hirer the Torrent de s'Albufereta flows into the Bahia de Pollenca. The torrent has dammed a lake in front of the mouth, which is now partially silted up and has become a habitat for numerous land and water birds and is now a nature reserve.

The park is the largest wetland in the Balearic Islands and was created around 100,000 years ago.

Ascent to Torre d'Albercutx

Highlight • Climb

This “road” now consists mostly of gravel and potholes. It’s pretty dangerous for racing bikes and not without danger on the descent either.

Albercutx Tower

Highlight • Monument

Climbing up the tower is definitely worth it. It's a lot of fun and the view is terrific. Once you have climbed the outer ladder, another small ladder leads up the inside of the tower.
Important: It is not recommended to drive to very high altitude, as there is only a small turnaround at the end of the road, which is guaranteed to be parked in high season. The turning with the car is then no longer possible !!!!!! You can then only drive backwards several hundred meters back, which, given the lack of guardrail and the sloping winding road can be very dangerous even for experienced drivers.

The approach from Port de Pollenca is one of the most beautiful cycling routes on Mallorca.

Cap de Formentor Lighthouse

Highlight • Monument

The lighthouse itself is not particularly spectacular, but the way there and the views that are offered are very worthwhile.

Pollença Old Town

Highlight • Settlement

This city is (at least for me) a must visit every Mallorcabesuch. First with the bike up to the chapel Calvari and then down a coffee or a refreshing cold drink. The city is (understandably) very popular and therefore also a bit overcrowded, but what does not make them lose their appeal. If there is not so much going on, it is worthwhile to cruise freely or unplanned through the streets or to stroll.

Coll de Golf Course Ramp

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

This short 12% steep ramp can be uncomfortable again after an extended training lap. But then it goes down to the coast - if the strong north wind doesn't demand additional strength.

A week's family holiday on Mallorca - and of course a bike tour planned! 🚴‍♂️🏖️

Picked up the bike from Hürzeler bike rental (thanks, you're GREAT! 👍), and then after a delicious breakfast 🥐 we set off from Can Picafort at around half past eight.

A truly amazing trail! Amazing viewpoints and amazing panorama. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Not alone but still very nice. In addition to the classic Formentor, I took two lesser known spots as a tourist compensation (Torre d'Albercutx and Ermita de Victoria including the Scenic Military Base ;-)). Although less spectacular but all the quieter. The driveway to the cape was very well filled despite the M312. However, there was enough space and even …
