A lovely little linear walk from Yorton to Wem. We've walked a very similar route to this previously - so thought (as we left the church) that we leave through the south gate as on the other walk, however we discovered that we shouldn't, we should have left through the north lych gate and follow the track round. What a lovely little linear walk from Yorton to Wem. The village of Tilley is just stunning with its half timbered, black and white properties! We had a great debrief at the Castle Hotel (Joules pub) then caught the 6 minute train ride back to the start.
