This route was planned by komoot.
After we started yesterday in Glen Nevis very motivated with a rather demanding hike, we wanted a more relaxed tour today. Accordingly, there was only one summit today, namely the Ben Ledi. Nice climb with a consistently good walkable path. A good breeze blew on the summit and on the descent into the valley the path disappeared completely for 200 meters. All in all a nice - definitely not too demanding - tour.
Ben Ledi is a mountain in Stirling, Scotland and stands at 878m and is the highest mountain in the main part of the Trossachs. Classified as a Corbett, and not a Munro, it is still a great circuit for a day out!! It was actually by chance they I ‘stumbled’ on the route, as we had been en-route to another Munro but a traffic accident and long queues resulted in us parking up in a lay-by to reassess walk options!
