After a restful night, I set off again. To protect my foot, I had split the 24-hour event into two parts. Today, 10 km were on the agenda, to at least make it to a total distance of 40 km.

The morning walk through the Duisburg Nord landscape park was ideal for ending the event in a relaxed manner.

The weather wasn't perfect today 😉, but we finished our tour in good time. The viewing platform at blast furnace 5 is worth a visit even in less than ideal weather because of the excellent panoramic views. Finally, we enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant next to the visitor information center (e.g., meatloaf on bread with honey-sweetened creamed sauerkraut).
