We took the lift to glacier des Bossons. It is also possible to start from Le Mont parking lot but that adds 300m of altitude to each way. The climb is ok at some points steep. We took a total of 6 hours round trip including some stops for eating. The view at the top is very rewarding

La Jonction is one of the great classics in the Chamonix region. This is where the Glacier des Bossons and the Glacier de Taconnaz meet – and offers a truly breathtaking view: of the Aiguille du Midi, the Dôme du Goûter, the Aiguilles Rouges, and, far in the background, Mont Blanc.
