Since 2019, the six-kilometer-long and four-meter-wide cycling, jogging and hiking path on the new dike of the "Zwin" nature reserve has connected Cadzand-Bad and Knokke-Heist across the border. After three years of construction work, visitors can now fully enjoy the unique 333-hectare tidal area by detouring. From four vantage points, walkers, hikers, joggers and cyclists have a beautiful overview of the new - wider, deeper and longer - "Zwingeul", the new bird breeding islands and the polder landscape.
The four rest areas on the dike dam are equipped with bicycle racks and benches; information boards give visitors information about the Zwin area.

What a beautiful short tour. From Breskens, we took the beautiful coastal cycle path via Nieuwfliet to Cadzand Bad.
Then via Cadzand and through the polders, past wonderful nature reserves such as the "Drowned Black Polder" and "de Waterduinen" back to Breskens.
Simply beautiful and highly recommended for cycling.
