Iron Suspension Bridge Over the River

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Wonderful suspension bridge - it does bounce a bit when you cross 🤭

Port-na-Craig Suspension Bridge

Highlight • Cycleway

Back door cycle route into/out of Pitlochry to stay off the main road A924 into town. Bonus, it is a nice steel suspension bridge c1913. It replaced a ferry which had operated since the 12th century.

Probably not the best time of year to do this ride as at the top of the hill was thick with sheet ice (I had to walk a bit next to the wooded area as it wasn’t possible to cycle). The route is really nice with good viewpoints.
