Lane Ends Nature Reserve

Highlight • Lake

Until 2003, Lane End operated as a clay quarry and brickworks until it was purchased by a home development company. Today, you will find many oak trees, heather, silver birch and hazel plants as well as badgers, foxes and rabbits. The area is also home to thousands of crested newts.
